The Wilma is honored to present the East Coast Regional Theater Premiere of Heather Raffo’s 9 Parts of Desire. Nominated for the Outer Critics Circle and Lucille Lortel awards, and countless others, this one-woman play has sold out performances in New York and London, and is sure to be an unforgettable evening of theater.

Heather Raffo's 9 Parts of Desire looks deeply at women whose lives have been upended by the last 20 years of history in Iraq. A mother, an artist, and a cousin from New York are among this sisterhood of women for whom war is a daily event. Written by Iraqi-American Heather Raffo, the stories are real and current, emotionally stirring and remarkably revealing.
