Night and Day
by Tom Stoppard
directed by Jiri Zizka
September 22, 2004 – October 31, 2004
Following the success of Every Good Boy Deserves Favor, The Invention of Love, Arcadia, and Indian Ink, the Wilma presents Tom Stoppard's timely account of wartime journalism, Night and Day.
Set on a British estate in a fictitious African country, Night and Day uses brilliant humor to question the contradictions of capitalism, colonialism, and freedom of the press. As a small African dictatorship is about to explode into civil war, reporters vie for the story while the mistress of the house struggles with fidelity
