Playwriting Workshop
Catherine Rush

 This advanced level class is designed for students with previous playwriting experience. Developing writers will have the opportunity to hear their work and receive feedback in a supportive workshop environment. Prospective students should have a script in progress or a project idea in mind before registering for the class.

The Acting Teacher
Benjamin Lloyd

 Acting teachers of all experience levels will share exercises and coaching techniques in this collaborative workshop. Participants will coach one another’s presented scene work in a teaching laboratory of their colleagues. Drawing from the readings of Parker Palmer, Mary O'Reilly, and his own book The Actor's Way, Ben will lead discussions on the acting teacher's goals, pitfalls, and affirmations.

Intermediate Acting
Jay Wahl 

Designed for students who have taken Acting Fundamentals or its equivalent, this class will focus on developing a strong foundation in the craft of acting. Through in-class exercises, monologues, and scene work, actors will build essential skills for breaking down text and making dramatic choices.

Acting Fundamentals
Madi Distefano 

Beginning actors are introduced to the fundamentals of acting in a playful and supportive environment. Interactive participation in theater games, improvisational exercises, and presented work will develop confidence, stage presence, and the ability to be fully present in any given moment.

Monologue Workshop

Mastering the monologue is crucial for successful auditioning. It is also an important tool for learning various theatrical styles, both classic and modern. This class will guide actors through the process of selecting audition monologues, developing characters, analyzing text, and creating a commanding stage presence.

Meisner and Method
Celeste Walker

Borrowing from her years of training at the Actors Studio in New York, Celeste Walker immerses advanced acting students in the techniques of Sanford Meisner and Lee Strasberg. Exercises in listening, sense memory, and repetition will help actors to access truthfulness in imaginary circumstances.
