THE WILMA THEATER AND THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA OFFER COURSE ON TOM STOPPARD PLAY

Philadelphia, PA - January 4 - In February and March, The Wilma Theater and The University of Pennsylvania's College of General Studies will team up to offer a new and unique course. "Tom Stoppard: Inventing The Invention of Love," will focus on the worlds of his play; including Latin and Greek poetry, classical scholarship, Victorian aestheticism and homosexuality. The class will run in conjunction with The Wilma Theater's East Coast premiere of THE INVENTION OF LOVE February 9 - March 12.

The class will include a symposium called "Inventing the Housmans" at The Wilma Theater on Monday, February 14th at 7:00pm, two Wednesday classes, February 23rd and March 1st, at The University of Pennsylvania and a ticket to The Wilma Theater's production of THE INVENTION OF LOVE on March 8th. The cost of the class is $125 and includes admission to the symposium and performance. The class is open to the general public.
