Recent and current projects include: In The Next Room or The Vibrator Play for Lincoln Center at the Lyceum Theater, The Last Cargo Cult at the Public Theater, Cyrano at Centerstage in Baltimore. On Broadway, Russell designed Julia Sweeney's God Said "Ha!" at the Lyceum Theatre. Theatres in New York that Russell has designed for include Manhattan Theater Club, 2nd Stage, The Public, The Vineyard, Classic Stage Company, New York Stage and Film and La Mama Etc.
