Thom Weaver (Lighting Designer) Previously for the Wilma: In the Next Room (or the vibrator play), Coming Home, Scorched, Becky Shaw. His work has been seen at theatres in the area including Arden, Delaware Theatre Company, People’s Light, Azuka, Theatre Exile, Curtis Opera, New Paradise Laboratories, Lantern, 1812, and Flashpoint Theatre Company where he is also Artistic Director. Other theatre credits include: Teller’s Play Dead in New York, CENTERSTAGE, Syracuse Stage, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Signature Theater Company, Folger Theatre, Cleveland Playhouse, Round House Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse, Berkshire Opera, York Theatre, Lincoln Center Festival, Summer Play Festival, 37 ARTS, Spoleto Festival USA, City Theatre, Virginia Stage, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, and Yale Rep. Awards include 9 Barrymore nominations, 1 Helen Hayes nomination, and the 2007 Best Lighting Design AUDELCO Award for Signature Theater’s King Hedley II, and the 2003 Entertainment Design Magazine Tyro Talent award. He received his BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and his MFA from Yale School of Drama.
