Dominique Serrand

Dominique Serrand was Artistic Director and co-founder of Theatre de la Jeune Lune in Minneapolis, and is currently the co-Artistic Director of the Moving Company. Serrand studied at the National Circus School and the Winter Circus School in France. At ART he was director and co-creator of Carmen, director of The Miser and Amerika, and co-creator and director of Don Juan Giovanni & Figaro, also playing the roles of Don Juan and Mr. Almaviva. Additional directing credits: Heroes, The Kitchen, Lulu, Romeo and Juliet, Three Musketeers, Tartuffe, The Magic Flute, Gulliver, A Swift Journey, Red Noses, 1789, The Pursuit of Happiness, and Queen Elisabeth. Acting credits include roles in Christopher Columbus, August August August, Cyrano, and The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. He is knighted by the French Government in the order of Arts and Letters.
