John Zak is happy to be returning to the Wilma since playing the role of the Little Monk in Galileo.  Previous: Venticello #2 in Amadeus (Walnut Street Theatre); one man show of Poe’s The Tell-tale Heart (2010 Philadelphia Fringe Festival); Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre); Arles Struvie, et al., in the comedies Greater Tuna, Tuna Christmas and Red, White & Tuna successively (Walnut Street Theatre); Barry in Jihad Jones & the Kalashnikov Babes (InterAct Theatre Co.); Stefan in European Lesson (Philadelphia Live Arts/ Jo Stromgren Kompani, Norway); Caliban in The Tempest (Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre) for which he received a Barrymore Award.  When not in a show John has performed competitive improvisational comedy for nearly 15 years with Comedy Sportz (
