THE 3 MUSKETEERS
adapted by Theatre de la Jeune Lune
based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas
directed by Dominique Serrand
September 8, 1999 - October 10, 1999

Drop back a few hundred years with this unique Franco-American troupe, storming Philadelphia for the first time in THE 3 MUSKETEERS. You may have encountered this classic adventure, but we guarantee you've never seen it like this. D'Artagnan wants adventure and romance, but when he catches up with the three illustrious swashbucklers, they're grounded in a slummy Paris apartment. The only exercise they get is complaining and dueling with the silverware.  Soon, however, they're lured back into the saddle and ready for action - battling the Cardinal's sinister legions and outwitting the evil Milady and her punk sidekick. Get ready for a riot of theatrical invention that you'll have to see to believe. You'll tag along on a wild gallop to the English Channel and cross a dark, roiling sea. There's something for everyone: comedy, philosophy, music, combat, romance, intrigue and spectacle. Most of all, there's the soaring imagination of Theatre de la Jeune Lune. We are proud to present this one-of-a-kind Minneapolis theater company who, like the Wilma, are celebrating 20 years of success.
