
SARAH RUHL (playwright) enchanted Wilma audiences in 2005 with her heartwarming play, The Clean House, which was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. Since then, Sarah was awarded the MacArthur "Genius" Fellowship where she was described as "a powerful presence in the American theater creating vivid and adventurous theatrical works." Praised by Variety as "a fresh, imaginative, and exciting voice in theater," Sarah's plays have been produced around the world. The Wilma is thrilled to present the Philadelphia Premiere of Eurydice in a bold new production.
