Robert DaPonte

Robert DaPonte (Donalbain/Messenger) is very proud to be making his debut on the Wilma stage. Robert is originally from Rhode Island and studied theater at Bradford College (Haverhill, MA) and The National Theater Institute (Waterford,CT ). In Philadelphia he has performed for Theatre Exile, InterAct, Flashpoint, PlayPenn, Philadelphia Young Playwrights, EgoPo, Luna, Shakespeare in Clark Park, as well as multiple productions in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Favorite roles include Larry in Mr. Marmalade (Theatre Exile, Barrymore Nomination for Best Ensemble), Estragon in Waiting for Godot (EgoPo), Prof. Broom in The Giant Squid (2008 Philly Fringe Festival) and Warren in This Is Our Youth (Hartford, CT). See him next in Theatre Exile's production of Martin McDonagh's The Lieutenant of Inishmore. Many thanks to Blanka and the talented cast and crew and, as always, all his love to his family.
